UNN revised academic calendar for 2019/2020 session

This is to inform the general public most especially the undergraduate students of the University of Nigeria (UNN) that the university management has approved and published a revised event academic calendar for the 2019/2020 session below is the breakdown of the calendar.

JANUARY 2021

Saturday 23 – Students returns to Campus

Monday 25 – Lectures Continues

FEBRUARY 2021

SATURDAY 06 FEBRUARY – MATRICULATION CEREMONIES

Saturday 13 – Lectures end

Monday 15 – Revision begins

Friday 19 – Revision ends

Monday 22 – Departmental examinations begin

Friday 26 – Departmental examinations end

MARCH 2021

Monday 01 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin

Saturday 13 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end

END OF FIRST SEMESTER

COMMENCEMENT OF SECOND SEMESTER

Monday 22 – Registration begins for all students

Tuesday 23 – Lectures begin

APRIL 2021

FRIDAY 02 – FRIDAY 09 EASTER BREAK

Friday 16 – Registration ends

Monday 19 – Late registration begins

Monday 19 – Thursday 22- Departmental Board meets to approve first semester results

Friday 23 – Last day for submission of first semester results to the

Department. Processing of results begins in the Department.

Friday 30 – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Registry

(Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry

MAY 2021

SATURDAY MAY 01 WORKERS DAY

Tuesday 04 – Late Registration ends

Friday 07 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.

Monday 10 ­- Thursday 14 Faculty Board meets to approve first semester results

JUNE 2021  

Friday 11 – Lectures end

Monday 14 – Revision begins

Friday 18 – Revision ends

Monday 21 – Departmental examinations begin

Friday 25 – Departmental examinations end

Monday 28 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin

JULY 2021

Saturday 10 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end

END OF 2019/2020 SESSION

AUGUST 2021

Monday 23 – Thursday 26- Departmental Board meets to approve second semester results

Friday 27 – Last day for submission of second semester results to the

Department. Processing of results begins in the Department

SEPTEMBER 2021

Friday 03 – Last day for submission of second semester results to the Registry (Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry

Friday 10 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.

Monday 21- Friday 24 – Faculty Board meets to consider and approve final year

Wednesday 27 – Senate meets to consider and approve final year results
